Job title: Director of Development
Employed by: Lowcountry AIDS Services
What I like most about my job:
What I like most about my position is that it allows me to meet so many giving and caring members of the Lowcountry community and connect them to Lowcountry AIDS Services mission of helping those affected by HIV/AIDS and promoting education and awareness of this epidemic. HIV/AIDS has not been cured and still greatly affects many in our community. If we don’t educate ourselves on how to reduce transmission and help those who are HIV positive to live healthier lives with adequate access to medical care, we will continue to see increased rates here in the Lowcountry. I am happy to do my part to raise awareness and funding for this cause about which I am so very passionate and dedicated.
I joined the Lowcountry Chapter of AFP because:
As a past member, I know the value in learning from others who work in the fundraising field day in and day out and understand our challenges as well as our triumphs.

My hobbies include: Kayaking, Cooking, Reading and Travelling
Something my AFP colleagues might not know about me is:
I have been an AFP member in three different cities over the past decade.
If I had one week to do anything I wanted, I would:
Live my life just the way it is right now. I couldn’t be happier or more excited to be just where I am at this moment in both my life and my career!
