Job title: Donor Relations Manager
Employed by: The Nature Conservancy of South Carolina
What I like most about my job:
I love the opportunity to get out in the field and walk, paddle or ride with our donors and partners. Without fail, every one of them has a uniquely personal story that ties back to why they care about a particular piece of property, a certain species, or conservation in South Carolina as a whole – sharing those stories is the best (and most effective) part of my job.
I joined the Lowcountry Chapter of AFP because:
Even with all of the in-house training and professional development that TNC offers, it is important to connect and network with local development professionals to exchange ideas and best practices for every specific region.
I'm originally from:
Wadmalaw Island, SC
My hobbies include:
hunting, boating, hiking, woodworking, swimming and paddling.
Something my AFP colleagues might not know about me is:
I am also a professional ocean rescue lifeguard – yes, just like Baywatch…
If I had one week to do anything I wanted, I would:
Charter a yacht and spend a week adventuring around the Virgin Islands with my wife.
