Job title: Director of Development
Employed by: One80 Place
What I like most about my job:
Hearing from donors how inspired and excited they are about One80 Place. I love finding creative ways to engage and inspire, and I’m grateful to work for an organization that is willing to try new things.
As Diversity Chair, my goals are to:
Spark conversation around diversity in fundraising and fundraisers, and to launch a Diversity Fellow program in 2016 to ensure that our Lowcountry Chapter accurately reflects the array of causes and nonprofits in our region.
What I enjoy about serving on the board: Engaging with this group of highly-talented peers from whom I learn constantly.
I joined the Lowcountry Chapter of AFP because: It is an active community of development professionals who are dedicated to their missions, supportive of their peers and passionate about advancing the fundraising profession.
I'm originally from: Los Angeles, CA
My hobbies include: Watching English Premier League Football (go Manchester United!), playing soccer and video games.
Something my AFP colleagues might not know about me is: In high school, I was part of a NASA apprenticeship program.
If I had one week to do anything I wanted, I would: Travel to Europe with my wife and daughter (possibly pop in for a Manchester United game).
