Job title: Director of Development
Employed by: Children's Museum of the Lowcountry
What I like most about my job: Helping to create connections between parents and their children in a safe and fun environment and witnessing children develop before my eyes through the power of play.
I recently joined AFP because: After leaving MUSC, I wanted to ensure that I could still be connected with a network of philanthropy professionals.
I'm originally from: Philadelphia, PA
My hobbies include: Yoga; reading; spending time with my 6 month old son, Sawyer; daily walks with my husband, son and three dogs; and trying all the incredible restaurants in the greater Charleston area (which is why yoga was listed as my number one hobby).
Something my AFP colleagues might not know about me is: I am obsessed with the traffic report on the radio. I am constantly switching stations weekday mornings and afternoons to find updated reports. I will even sit in the car when I reach my destination to finish listening to a report.
If I had one week to do anything I wanted, I would: Travel with my husband, best friend and mom to Italy and eat my way through the country, again.
