JOB SUMMARY

Serves as the organization's content management expert for e-mail and web providing support and technical assistance for the implementation of the organization's marketing and communications efforts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Function 1:

E-mail Marketing Coordination

  • Plan, create and execute coordinated content for TUW Quarterly e-mail newsletter to provide a consistent, compelling and brand compliant message.
  • Create compelling visuals and graphics to support written content.
  • Manage content placement, conduct content audit and refresh content as scheduled.
  • Work with Resource Development Data Management Specialist and CRM Manager to ensure accurate data, information and e-mails are shared between the CRM system and current email system.
  • Lead e-mail marketing services consolidation and transition to Andar Content Management as the sole tool for mass e-mail communication for TUW.
  • Lead creation of style sheets for the organization and determines the look and feel for the e-mail tools to ensure aesthetics and brand compliance.
  • Process Marketing Request form submissions that include e-mail newsletter content from other departments.
  • Monitor, track and report email performance metrics for quarterly e-mail newsletter (i.e. open rates, click-through rates and more) to key internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze performance data and make recommendations for improved performance strategy.

Essential Function 2:

Website Coordination

  • Plan, create and execute coordinated content for TUW website to provide a consistent, compelling and brand compliant message.
  • Create compelling visuals and graphics to support written content.
  • Manage content placement, conduct content audit and refresh content as scheduled.
  • Process, respond and complete Marketing Request form submissions that include website updates from other departments.
  • Monitor, track and report email performance metrics for website (i.e. website traffic, traffic sources, top pages, bounce rate and more) to key internal stakeholders. 
  • Analyze performance data and make recommendations for improved strategy. 

Essential Function 3:

Andar Content Management and Subscriptions Lead

  • Serve as the organizational expert on Andar Content Management (CM) and Subscriptions Modules.
  • Work with Andar CRM Manager as a member of the Super Users Project Team to provide staff training and technical support. 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure consistent use of approved brand identity guidelines throughout organization and monitor application fidelity.
  • Participates as a member of organizational development teams as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Associate's degree required with focus on Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing preferred; Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

1 year project management experience

1 - 2 years hands-on experience with e-mail content management system.

1 - 2 years hands-on experience with website content management system.

Nonprofit experience preferred.

Skills

  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS required
  • Experience with InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Andar 360, content management systems for websites, project management software and Google Analytics preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent writing, editing, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to balance competing priorities
  • Self-starter with ability to dive-in and find answers to questions that may not yet be documented.
  • Ability to anticipate and recognize hurdles/obstacles to communicate needs and mitigate potential hazards in program development
  • Ability to discern the purpose of a marketing materials request, consider the audience and guide the messaging.
  • Ability to be flexible.
  • Strong attention to detail.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF JOB

  • This job requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
  • Worker must frequently use typical office equipment (telephone, copier, printer, fax, etc.).
  • Worker sits most of the time.
  • Worker communicates with constituents, clients, and/or partners by phone and in person.
  • Routinely required to walk and occasionally travel by car.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Primarily works in climate controlled office-based setting.
