Development Database Coordinator (Administrative Coordinator I) # 1751

This position provides support for the Development Department's fundraising activities including coordinating and managing the database of supporters, generating and distributing reports, donor listings and written/electronic communications, and tracking/cultivating special event and donor appreciation activities. Additionally, the individual will customize the database to meet specific development office needs and to ensure that staff members operate in accordance with set procedures. Attention to detail and accuracy of work are critical aspects of this position. Work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday and occasional nights and weekends.

 Minimum and Additional Requirements:

This position requires a bachelor's degree and two (2) years of relevant experience in business management, public administration or administrative services; or an associate degree and four (4) years of relevant experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.

 

 Preferred Qualifications:

Applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint), relational database management and research and analysis techniques and possess strong data entry skills. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential. Experience with Raiser's Edge, Financial Edge and/or Crystal Reports is a plus.
